the information revolution and education

Home schooling is the model for the future, all the ingredients are in place, in a few years the type of school we grew up in, may be limited to exist in the realm of special education, lab hours and finals.

The education revolution is coming, whereas this baby boomer generation who became the highest educated generation in the history of humanity, has given back to humanity an information revolution of which the students of the generations to come will learn of on their online classes and e-books of history :)

The absence of distractions in front of a terminal, make concentration and focus easier for the students, while the predominance of visual signals over voice should increase retention of subjects.

The absence of clutter in the virtual world makes possible for a number of educators to control the shared desktops of large numbers of students per class, in favor of standardization, whereas in the future is not to be excluded the participation of a number of instructors as a crew, with specialized duties, in even larger education "session" or "events", even on worldwide "live" scale, in a completelly interactive manner.

The bottom line of the concept, is more spending bucks in education, and less in real estate and maintenance, with equal quality of education from the ghetto to the Los Altos Hills neighborhoods, from the favelas in Brazil to the left side of Zurich lake, a profound goal for humanity, 100% doctorate level by 2050.

The virtual access opens a school system to the world education market, more access is equal to more customers, a more liberal and libertarian education is going to have indirect effects on the world society of the future, whereas this young students one day will apply what they learned in managing their own countries, when the time comes, to the benefit of all.

about baby-boomers

things to be said:

- baby boomers did not put themselves in this world, nor decided to count how many they were going to be, for this issue see the prior generation

- baby boomers made the fortune of others more than making fortunes for themselves, as result buying power decreased and so did average life standard

- working women are the heroes of this generation, without their income and production would have been very hard to raise the next generation

- public debt came from the financial incompetence of the prior generations, togetter with a cumbersome govenment machine designed for the 18th century, apparently uncontrollable and beyond repair even with the spirit of this generation

- private debt came from the need of surviving without the buying power of the prior generation, all this at the highest fiscal and monetary drag in history

- we hope there wont be a time where baby boomers may have to leave this world to save everybody else as usual, or maybe the time is already here, and the illuminati in the higher quarters are starting considering methods for the natural disappearance of this generation ?

a libertarian approach

- thirty years ago, in a time of free and wide political debate, i proposed in high school a model for retribution not based on hourly wages, but on production

- the basic idea was a new type of share, "labor share", tightly coupled to exchange capital stocks and shares of the company in a relation like ls=k(es) with a fair empiric k , a portion of, could be paid in times of economic expansion, in capital shares or stocks, as reserve and pension plan

- the reduction of fixed costs associated is beneficial in times of crisis to keep companies competitive, and most likely should, in the long term reduce bankruptcies

- the effect of such a system is incentivating the production of the business entity, trough optimizing the production of every single member, kind like the reversed process of reduction of single cost drivers in cost analysis

- any comments welcome, as usual ...

was Dos Passos right ? are there two amerikas ?

-was Dos Passos right ? are there two amerikas ?

-why a legal foreign citizen can not purchase weapons in california, but any amerikan richmond or oakland drug dealer can ?

-comments welcome ...

about religions, taxes and medical

-why should religions have fiscal priviledges beyond the ones of any social organization, and why should non profit corporations be tax exempt ?

-what about taxing non profit income, and re-disributing non-profit originated revenues trough non-profit programs, like for instance a free medical system, like in any civilized western countries ?

-what about property taxes on non-profit corporations, to finance non-profit hospitals

-why not, due the strategic importance of health as a factor of power, at the downings of a new era of bio-genetic warfare, put a military system designed for global war and orphan of the cold war, in charge of "the american public medical system"

-just ideas, comments welcome
